Dr Joel Mawdsley is a gastroenterology consultant at Guys and St Thomas’ NHS trust where he is clinical lead for the department. He is fully registered with the GMC and his special interests are inflammatory bowel disease (being chair of the London IBD forum) and endoscopy (being the current clinical lead of the Southeast London Endoscopy network). He has also been accredited as an endoscopist in the National Bowel Cancer screening program.
