About
Mr Agarwal is an Orthopaedic consultant at Cardiff and Vale NHS. He specialises in hip and knee replacement surgery and has a special interest in knee revision surgery.
He graduated from King George’s Medical College in India and obtained Orthopaedic training from Leeds. He did a fellowship in hip and knee replacement surgery from Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston which is part of the Harvard Orthopaedic Program.
He joined as a consultant in Cardiff in 2008 and does over 200 hip and knee replacements yearly. He offers a tertiary referral service for knee revisions. In addition, he undertakes keyhole knee surgery and trauma surgery.
He is the editor of two books – Current orthopaedic practice and Radiology of Skeletal Implants – both with a worldwide readership. He has authored over 40 research papers and is an examiner for the FRCS Orth exam.
