About
Mr Churunal Hari is a highly regarded consultant ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeon based in Shrewsbury who has extensive experience managing ENT conditions. He treats a vast range of ear conditions as well as voice disorders, thyroid and parathyroid disease, nose and sinus disease, neck disease, throat, and salivary gland disease.
Mr Hari's professional interests include general ENT and the education and training of junior doctors. He completed his ENT training in the South West of England and Australia. During his training, Mr Hari spent two years pursuing research in olfactory biosciences at Cardiff University, leading to a Master of Philosophy. Mr Hari completed a head and neck surgery fellowship at the Royal Adelaide Hospital before taking up the consultant job.

Mr Hari is an honorary senior lecturer at the Keele University Medical School and is an active researcher who has published original scientific papers and written review articles for various medical journals. He is the recipient of the International Rhinology Research Award which was awarded to him by the American Rhinologic Society in 2002.
