Dr Marion graduated from the University of Paris and specialises in Parkinson’s disease and the use of Botulinum toxin (Botox) in Neurology, pioneering its use in France in 1986.
She is specialised in movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, tremor and dystonia as well as in the neurological indications of the Botox treatment in neurology (chronic migraines, facial palsy, Blepharospoasm, cervical dystonia, hemifacial spasm, hyperhidrosis). Dr Marion also sees patients with generalised neurological conditions.
Dr Marion was running the movement disorders unit at St George’s Hospital NHS trust in London for 12 years and now works part time in the ENT department with Ms Lucy Hicklin, ENT consultant, on the Botox treatment of voice, swallowing and breathing disorders.
She is the chair and founder of the British Neurotoxin Network, which gathers neurologists in UK, running Botulinum toxin clinics and the medical adviser for the UK dystonia society. She blogs for patients with dystonia and is very active in giving lectures and organising workshops for the uses of Botulinum toxin in neurology internationally.
