About
Dr Mahesh Chaudhari has been working as a Consultant in Pain Medicine in NHS for more than 10 years and is the Lead Consultant for Pain Management services at NHS Trust. He has completed Specialist training in Anaesthesia and Pain management through the West Midland Deanery’s rotational training scheme. He has undergone Advanced training in Pain Management and has been awarded Fellowship of Faculty of Pain Medicine, Royal College of Anaesthetists, London.
Dr Chaudhari is experienced in managing chronic pain of various origins. He uses various modalities for the management of pain and these include Medications, Injections etc. He also utilises the expertise of physiotherapists and psychologists where appropriate to try and decrease not only the pain, but also the disability associated with the pain.
Dr Chaudhari has a particular interest in low back pain, neck pain, Sciatica/leg pain, joint pain and Cancer pain management. He is one of the most experienced Consultants in Midlands managing Cancer pain using advanced Pain Management techniques.
He is well versed in performing all the routine pain relief intervention procedures such as epidurals, facet joint injections, Nerve root blocks, medial branch blocks, Radiofrequency denervation etc.
Dr Chaudhari has many National and International presentations to his name and he has contributed to various academic book publications.
