Dr Jayakar has been a Senior Consultant Haematologist at Kingston Hospital, London since 2010, with academic attachments (Lead for education and training) at Kings College London (Since 2017) and holds a Senior Lecturer post at Imperial College, London.
After SHO jobs at Royal Marsden and UCL, London, he trained in Haematology at Imperial College London Hospitals.
He is adept in treating all malignant and benign haematological conditions, inclusive of Lymphoma, Myeloma, Leukaemia, red cell disorders and thrombosis.
Dr Jayakar is well renowned for his teaching prowess and has delivered invited lectures in Europe, UAE, Singapore, India, and Sri Lanka, in addition to the UK & Ireland.
Dr Jayakar sees adults only.
Special interests
All haematology conditions including anaemias, low and high blood counts, Lymphoma, Myeloma, red cell disorders and thrombosis.
Main interests are Lymphoma and haemostasis & Thrombosis.
