Join us for a FREE day of expert-led discussions and practical insights into lower limb orthopaedics, delivered by leading consultants from across the specialty.


The day begins with registration and welcome refreshments from 9:30am, followed by an introduction at 9:55am, where attendees will meet the speakers and receive important housekeeping information.

At 10:00am, Mr Mark Fandon, Consultant Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon, will present Tackling Tendon Troubles, exploring the diagnosis and management of common tendon conditions.

At 10:40am, Mr Joseph Aderinto, Consultant Orthopaedic Hip Surgeon, will guide attendees through The Hip Replacement Journey, providing an overview of patient pathways, surgical considerations, and outcomes.

Following a comfort break at 11:20am, attendees will hear from Mr Sanjeev Anand, Consultant Orthopaedic Knee Surgeon, at 11:40am. His session, Knee Injury Essentials, will cover the assessment and treatment of common knee injuries encountered in clinical practice.

At 12:20pm, Professor Nick Harris, Consultant Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon, will deliver a presentation on Ankle Ligament Injuries, discussing diagnosis, management strategies, and recovery considerations.

A complimentary lunch will be served from 1:00pm, offering attendees the opportunity to network with colleagues, consultants, and fellow healthcare professionals.

The afternoon programme begins at 2:00pm with Mr Ram Venkatesh, Consultant Orthopaedic Knee Surgeon, presenting Navigating Knee Cartilage. This session will explore cartilage pathology and current treatment approaches.

At 2:40pm, Mr Neil Hunt, Consultant Orthopaedic Knee Surgeon, will discuss Knee Preservation, highlighting modern techniques and strategies aimed at preserving joint function and improving long-term patient outcomes.

The event will conclude with closing remarks at 3:20pm, followed by the collection of CPD certificates, with the programme finishing at 4:00pm.
