Neil Hunt is a specialist knee surgeon with extensive experience in treating all knee conditions including soft tissue/sports injuries and arthritis.
With over 12 years experience as a consultant in managing all types of knee condition from those in children, professional and amateur sportsmen/women to patients with severely arthritic knees, he has performed thousands of specialist knee operations including knee arthroscopy, meniscal repair, ligament/multi-ligament reconstructions, patella stabilisation procedures, partial/uni-compartmental, complex/total and revision knee replacement, osteotomy (knee re-alignment surgery) and chondral surgery. His National Joint Ligament Registry data demonstrates excellent results that are within the top 5%.
Mr Hunt’s aim is to improve the quality of life for all patients by eliminating or reducing their pain, returning them to normal activities as much as possible and delaying/avoiding the need for total knee replacement where possible. He uses the most modern techniques to achieve the most rapid patient recovery and rehabilitation.
He graduated from Cambridge University in 1987 & Imperial College in 1993, trained in Orthopaedics in London and Yorkshire and undertook a knee fellowship in Australia with one of the world’s leading knee surgeons.
