Mr Neil Hunt is a highly experienced Consultant Knee Surgeon specialising exclusively in the diagnosis and treatment of knee conditions. Appointed as a consultant in 2005, he provides expert care for patients with sports injuries, early and advanced arthritis, and complex knee problems. Patients may self-refer or be referred by GPs, physiotherapists, and other consultants from across the UK.

Research
Mr Hunt has undertaken wide-ranging research projects resulting in presentations at national and international orthopaedic meetings and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
He has been a participant in several international multi-centre studies aiming to introduce improved techniques for the benefit of patients including the ACTIVE Trial of Autologous Chondrocyte Implantation (resurfacing of articular cartilage).
Mr Hunt regularly attends lectures, teaches and demonstrates surgical techniques to Consultant Knee Surgeons, fellows and senior trainees. He also hosts visiting overseas surgeons who observe his surgery.
