About

Mr Konstantinos Chaidas is a Consultant Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) surgeon at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford since 2015. His private practice is based at the Nuffield Health, Manor Hospital in Oxford. 

He undertakes the full range of general ENT practice both in children and adults. He has a specialist interest in the diagnosis and management of snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea.
He graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University in Greece in 2005. After the completion of his higher surgical training, he undertook a two-year fellowship training in robotic ENT surgery for sleep apnoea and thyroid/parathyroid disease at St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College in London. In 2010, he was awarded a PhD in sleep apnoea. He is the co-founder of the British Association of Sleep Surgeons.

Research

Mr Chaidas has an active interest in research and teaching. He was awarded a PhD in paediatric obstructive sleep apnoea in 2010. He has published widely with over 20 publications in peer review journals mainly in the field of sleep-disordered breathing.

He is currently the Oxford principal investigator for NATTINA study. He also participates in teaching Oxford University undergraduates and provides educational supervision for trainee surgeons.
