01865 741741The One Stop CYP Cardiology service provides your child with access to specialist consultation, state-of-the-art cardiovascular screening and diagnostics, ECG and personalised management all in one visit.
This service is led by Dr Satish Adwani and Dr Michael Harris, who are highly experienced Paediatric Cardiology Consultants with a shared interest in congenital heart defects, cardiac screening in teenage athletes and heart failure.
They are highly regarded for their child friendly and reassuring approach to delivering clear and concise consultations. Our wider paediatric team includes registered paediatric nurses and specialist clinicians trained in CYP care, safeguarding, and emergency response.

CYP cardiac investigations provided include:
- Advanced echocardiography (TTE), including stress, contrast, colour flow, 3D, tissue Doppler
- Ambulatory ECG monitoring and analysis
- Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and analysis
- ECG patch recording, including 14 day ZIOPATCH and Cardiostat and analysis
- Implantable cardiac device remote monitoring service and analysis
- Exercise ECG stress testing
- Chest x ray
- Blood Tests
- Onward referral to other specialists if indicated
- Electrocardiogram (ECG) – Evaluates your child’s heart rhythm and electrical activity
