Dr Rajakariar is Lead Consultant in Renal Medicine at the Barts Health NHS Trust and the Lead Clinician for Dialysis. He undertook His postgraduate training at Barts Health in London where he was appointed as a Consultant Nephrologist. He was also awarded a PhD degree for research into resolution of inflammation that he carried out at the William Harvey Research Institute. He has published in numerous prestigious peer reviewed journals. He is an Academic Year Tutor for Queen Mary University of London school of Medicine and is an Educational supervisor for junior doctors.
Special interests
Dr Ravi’s clinical interests include, chronic kidney disease, diabetic renal disease, hypertension, lupus renal disease, vasculitis and transplantation. He also looks after patients on haemodialysis and assesses patients for kidney transplantation.
