Dr Harding trained in Bristol and the South West with a period in New Zealand. Initially in General Medicine and Critical Care, he switched to Radiology in 2005. In 2008 he won the Finzi Prize in Radiology at the Royal Society of Medicine and went on to complete a period of higher specialist training with some of the luminaries of UK Interventional Radiology.
He is an active member of BSIR/CIRSE and is the Clinical Lead for Interventional Radiology (Image guided surgery) at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) and the Clinical Supervisor for senior trainees.
He has introduced several new procedures into both the local NHS and private practice including radiological gastrostomy (RIG), Uterine Artery Embolization (UAE) for women with fibroids, transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) for liver cancer and has worked actively performing and promoting the new procedure of Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE), in particular as part of the UKRoPE national registry study.
He performs a full range of diagnostic and interventional imaging services including Xray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI and all aspects of vascular & non-vascular image guided surgery.
Imaging: chest, abdomen, pelvis; including General issues, Vascular, Hepato-biliary, Urology, Gynaecology.
Treatment; Uterine Fibroids, Prostate Embolization for men, Embolization of male varicocoeles, embolization of pelvic congestion syndrome in women, vascular access (eg Hickman lines)
Dr Harding enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters along with outdoor pursuits.
