Benefits of a private GP

If you have a busy schedule, a private GP is the perfect way to make sure your health doesn’t get sidelined:

  • Same-day appointments available
  • Available to anybody
  • No need to be registered with an NHS GP

Our GPs

Our GPs are experienced in all aspects of general practice and have a variety of special interests to cater for most medical needs.

Dr Caitlin Imray

MBChB, MRGCP, DRCOG, DFRSH , Registered British Menopause Society menopause specialist

Specialty: General Practice (GP)

Dr Peter John

MBBS, BSc

Specialty: General Practice (GP)

Dr Nick Tait

MB ChB, DRCOG, MRCGP, MFSEM(UK), DipSEM

Specialty: General Practice (GP)

Dr Imray, Dr John and Dr Tait work together as part of a private GP service, providing appointments Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays.

One of the advantages of being based within the hospital is that the GP can usually arrange for investigations such as blood tests, X-rays, and scans to be performed at the time of consultation or the following day.

They can also ensure rapid referral to any of the wide range of specialists who consult at the hospital, if needed.
