I completed my post graduate training in Scotland as a generalist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with special interest in reproductive Medicine, infertility issues, Endometriosis and associated conditions. I also did my research in Pelvic Endometriosis and was awarded an MD by the University of Aberdeen. I was appointed as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Fife group of Hospitals in 1990 and I have worked there for 31 years. I have also held various management positions in Fife, including Chairman of Fife Medical Advisory Committee and Clinical Director for Women and Children’s Directorate. I have also served on several National committees (British Medical association, SIGN and NICE Guidelines), and as Vice President Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists for three years. I was awarded a CBE in 2012. I hold several honorary fellowships from various academic bodies. I have wide experience in all areas of Women’s Health.
