About
Mr Oliver Dale is a Consultant ENT, Head & Neck and Thyroid surgeon based at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. He specialises in treating benign and malignant conditions of the throat, salivary glands and thyroid. He also has a special interest in complex nasal surgery including primary and revision endoscopic sinus surgery, septoplasty and turbinate surgery.
Mr Dale trained in Oxford and Bristol, before undertaking an
international Fellowship in advanced head & neck cancer and robotic surgery
in Adelaide, Australia. He has been awarded a PhD for his research into head
& neck cancer, and has received national awards including the Margaret Witt
Scholarship for clinical excellence and the Modi Surgical Research Fellowship
from the Royal College of Surgeons.

Mr Dale has a strong interest in research, and has been a member of the National Cancer Research Institute's Head & Neck Clinical Studies Group. He has published over 25 peer reviewed papers, and has written the ENT component of the undergraduate medical syllabus for students at the University of Bristol.
