Chris qualified in medicine at The Royal London Hospital. After a few years training in General Medicine he joined the GP training scheme in Winchester. In 1983 he joined a busy semi-rural practice as a partner and later became senior partner. He took early retirement from the NHS in 2014.
His particular interests are general medicine in the context of primary care, especially the management of chronic illnesses including diabetes, high blood pressure, respiratory disorders, gastrointestinal complaints and bone and joint disorders. He has extensive experience in a managing childhood illness and mental health problems.
