Nuffield Health Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

Paul brings more than 25 years of financial leadership experience across international consumer, logistics and service sectors.

Most recently, Paul has been Chief Financial Officer at Smiths News Plc, where he led improvements in operational performance, reduced borrowings, and played a key role in transforming the business. Prior to this, Paul held senior finance roles at Compass Group Plc, Iglo Group/Birds Eye Limited, and Cadbury Schweppes Plc, and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA).

Matt joined Nuffield Health in 2022 and will be leaving to take up a new position. He has played a pivotal role in strengthening the not-for-profit organisation’s financial stability, control, and performance. 

His leadership laid the foundations for improved profitability, built stronger financial controls, and created the foundations for greater investment in Nuffield Health’s assets, systems, and people.
