Kevin Thomson - Market Development Director
Kevin leads our B2B client relationship and business development functions, offering a consultative approach to ensure that our clients are provided with a ‘best in class’ solution to meet their requirements.
Kevin has extensive experience, developed over many years working with two of the UK’s largest private healthcare providers, where he has assisted in developing a range of corporate healthcare strategies for some of the world’s largest organisations. His extensive knowledge of preventative, primary and secondary healthcare, augmented with the operational and service delivery requirements to bring any given project to life, has proved invaluable. This has allowed him to provide a wide range of quality healthcare services, to both win and retain a large portfolio of Nuffield Health corporate clients.
Claire McCusker - Strategic Business Development Director
Claire has spent 20 years working with leading providers of corporate healthcare both in the UK and overseas. She has held senior roles in operations, client management and business development.
Claire’s insights and knowledge span across a range of health and wellbeing services with a focus on primary care and health assessment services. Having successfully lead and implemented whole of workforce solutions for numerous organisations, Claire draws on her extensive experience to provide an informed and consultative approach when tailoring healthcare services and guiding wellbeing strategy for clients.
Luke Smith - Strategic Business Development Director
Luke has been with Nuffield Health for over 15 years and is responsible for managing intermediary and consultant relationships across our clinical services.
With specialisms in health assessments, primary care, emotional wellbeing and physiotherapy; Luke provides valuable insights, passion and drive to build a healthier nation through recommending the most appropriate and cost-effective health and wellbeing solutions to corporate clients.
Neil Gillespie – Strategic Business Development Director
Neil brings over 30 years’ experience in the fitness and wellbeing industry and has been at the forefront of establishing the blueprint for successful corporate onsite facilities. Over an impressive career in senior roles for leading national and international providers, Neil has consulted across a wide range of clients advising on design, implementation and operations of award winning fitness and onsite medical facilities.

David Elliott – Strategic Business Development Director
David has over 20 years’ experience within the health and wellbeing industry, focused primarily on Corporate emotional wellbeing, mental health and musculoskeletal treatment and prevention.
David has held senior leadership roles within market leading organisations and has over a decade of experience as a Board member of EAPA (the Employee Assistance Professionals Association), helping to improve industry standards.
Having worked extensively across the Private, Public, Third Sector, NHS and Insurance sectors, David has a track record of developing creative solutions that maximise return on investment for clients, and engagement, outcomes, and optimised patient journeys for their workforces.
Mike Brown – Head of Bids and Tenders
Michael leads our organisation to create compelling and competitive bids that drive success in the opportunities that Nuffield Health pursue. Providing leadership though all phases of commercial tendering, his experience includes NHS and Public Sector, Not for profit organisations and the Private sector.
Promoting collaboration, innovation and structured processes, Michael brings extensive experience across health and wellbeing, clinical care, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and staffing. With over 20 years leading high performing bid functions, he keeps the needs of beneficiaries and clients at the core of our proposals.
