Mr Ghattaura qualified from University College London Medical School in 1995 and has trained extensively in London and South Wales. He is currently an NHS Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the Morriston Hospital, Swansea with a specialist interest in breast surgery. Mr Ghattaura also consults at the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport. In Mr Ghattaura’s NHS practice he is the Clinical Lead for Microsurgical services and has a specialist interest in breast reconstruction following cancer surgery.
Over the last 12 years of working in the field of Plastic Surgery Mr Ghattaura has worked in many prestigious Plastic Surgery units in the UK including the Royal Marsden Hospital, London, Great Ormond Street and the Oxford Radcliffe Infirmary. As well a gaining valuable experience of breast surgery in Harley Street, London, he has been trained in breast enlargement surgery at the University Hospital Ghent, Belgium.

Mr Ghattaura also provides expert advise on all Plastic Surgery matters and has recently been interviewed by ITV regarding the PIP breast issue.

Mr Ghattaura has published extensively in the medical literature and has contributed a chapter to the breast reconstruction book Oncoplastic Surgery of the Breast. He has lectured both in the UK as well as Plastic Surgery meetings abroad to international audiences. Mr Ghattaura is dedicated to training the next generation of Plastic Surgeons and writes lectures as part of the national e-learning for health programme for Plastic Surgery.
