John de Vos was born in The Netherlands and trained in The Netherlands and Belgium before moving to the UK in 2004 where he completed his specialist training in Haematology/Haemato-Oncology at St Bartholomew's Hospital in London.
After two years as a consultant and senior lecturer at St Bartholomew's Hospital specialising in lymphoma, leukaemia and stem-cell transplantation, he moved his NHS Practice to the Royal Surrey County Hospital where he is the Clinical Lead for Haematology, the Lead for the TYAC (Teenage and Young Adult Cancer) services and Chief of Service for Oncology for the St Luke's Cancer Centre.
He started his private practice at the Nuffield
Hospital Guildford in 2018 with his main focus on malignant haematology.
