For about five years, Mrs Sian Lee suffered with severe leg and back pain, but neither she nor her GP had realised it was down to her worn out hips. In September 2020 she consulted Mr Alun John at Nuffield Health Cardiff and Vale Hospitals and at her request, had both her hips replaced on 8 December 2020. This has changed her life completely and she's returned to work and active living in double quick time.

After two years of almost total sight loss from dense cataracts in both eyes, Suzanne Roberts had a nasty fall in February 2022, resulting in permanent damage to her elbow.
