Providing the best possible cancer care in our private oncology unit

Our oncology service consists of a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team of surgeons, oncologists, specialist nurses, radiologists, counselling and support groups, who are on hand to provide advice on every aspect of care for patients and relatives throughout the course of treatment. You can speak to any of us at any time, and we are happy to help you by liaising with GPs or other specialists you may need for support.

Cancer diagnosis

We provide rapid access to scans and biopsies and make a point of getting the results back to you as quickly as possible - usually in a matter of hours, not days or weeks.

Whether you need surgery, reconstruction or any other type of treatment, it’s reassuring to know we offer a wide range of cancer treatments and procedures.

Chemotherapy services

Our chemotherapy unit is staffed by an Oncology Manager and a fully qualified expert nursing team.

Supportive services:

  • Look Good Feel Better provides practical support for women suffering from the appearance related side effects of cancer treatment
  • Nuffield Health Cancer Support Group meets on the last Friday of every month from 10:00 - 12:00
  • Volunteer transport service allows door to door easy access to and from the hospital
