Dr Richard Gale is a consultant haematologist at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust and has over 25 years experience in the specialty.
He trained in haematology at The Royal Free Hospital and The Royal London and St Bartholomew’s Hospitals before becoming a consultant haematologist in 2000.
He led the project for the development of a specialist haematology unit within the Kent oncology centre which opened in 2006.
Dr Gale has been clinical lead for haematology in his NHS tenure and is currently the lead lymphoma consultant for the Trust. As well as general haematology, he has a particular interest in haemato-oncology.
