Dr Epstein studied medicine at Nottingham University graduating in 1994. He then completed a DPhil at Oxford University in 2002 before his Registrar training in East Anglia, concentrating at Papworth Hospital where he specialised in Interventional Cardiology. He spent time at Haukeland University Hospital in Bergen Norway focusing on Coronary Intervention.
Dr Epstein is an experienced cardiologist with a broad experience of general cardiology. He has a special interest in Interventional Cardiology. He has performed a large number of procedures with training in intravascular ultrasound, pressure wire assessment, distal protection devices, rotational atherectomy and thrombectomy devices. He also is an experienced implanter of pacemakers.
Dr Epstein is married with a young son and enjoys mountaineering, running and mountain biking.
