Dr Alan Roberts



Dr Alan Roberts is a General Practitioner offering a private GP service at Nuffield Health The Grosvenor Hospital in Chester. He has been a GP and Forensic Medical Examiner since Valentines Day 1977, and has over 37 years of experience as a General Practitioner.

Dr Roberts’ main interest is the Holistic and personal approach to medicine, were each patient is unique and he can take into account their illnesses, medications and psychosocial situation, therefore tailoring the consultation to the patients specific needs.

Dr Roberts will arrange a specific management plan and will inform his patients of the latest treatments and problems and come to a decision, so that the patient is well informed. He makes great use of diagrams and the internet to explain the problem in simple jargon.

Dr Roberts is also involved in management and training of GPs.

He has worked as senior Forensic Medical Examiner for Merseyside Police for over 37 years, as well as being a full time GP.

Dr Roberts has various media interests, including Radio Merseyside Doctor and Liverpool Echo Doctor and TV advisor on Medical Matters, as well as Coronation Street.

He has an interest in photography and cars.
