About
I'm a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in foot and ankle surgery, soft tissue knee surgery, and post-trauma reconstruction.
I also have interests in arthroscopy, sports injuries and medico-legal work. I undertake private practice in Plymouth and Farnham, Surrey.
Education
I gained my medical qualification from the University of Leicester in 1993 before joining the army as a medical officer.
I undertook my basic surgical training in Wessex and served in Bosnia, Northern Ireland, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Sierra Leone.
I then undertook orthopaedic training and fellowships in foot and ankle and limb reconstruction surgery at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and the Hospital for Special Surgery (USA).
I obtained my Fellowship of the Royal College of
Surgeons of England in 2006.
