This free event at Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital is for anyone who would like to find out more about cataract surgery and refractive lens surgery as a treatment option for sight correction.
Refractive lens surgery is designed to make you less dependent on glasses and contact lenses, helping you to lead an active lifestyle more easily. It eliminates the need for cataract surgery in later life, and your spectacle prescription normally remains stable after the treatment.
This free event will give you the opportunity to hear a presentation by Mr Indy Sian, Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon here at Taunton Hospital, who will discuss cataract refractive lens exchange and premium intraocular lenses for cataract surgery. This will be followed by an informal Q&A session where you can ask any questions you may have and get expert advice.
