I have always had a passion for Health and Exercise, and I believe that exercise has to be sustainable for you to keep it in your lifestyle! I have played a number of sports throughout the years and love hiking too. This passion for Health and Exercise led me to complete a Bsc in PE, Sport and Health at the University of East Anglia, which has broadened my knowledge base and skill set.

Rehabilitation Specialist & Wellbeing Personal Trainer

How can I help you improve your health?

After qualifying as a Personal Trainer the year before, I joined the team at Nuffield Health Norwich in early 2019. In Late 2021, I began running the “Joint Pain Program” here at Norwich and have since been in a combined roll of both Rehab Specialist & Wellbeing Personal Trainer.

My areas of interest are injury and rehabilitation through combining mobility exercises with strength and muscular conditioning, athletic performance and strength training using Olympic lifting and traditional strength methods.

I’m also currently studying for a Master in Osteopathy at the University College of Osteopathy in London with the future goal of bringing this into the Norwich Site. 

Outside of fitness I am a keen amateur wrestler and have worked as a stunt performer in short films.

How can I help you improve your health?

I have always had a love of physical movement and expression, for example, yoga and free-form dance, and I started running in 2004 when I joined a running group hoping to gain techniques to build up confidence and stamina.

On my own personal fitness journey, I enjoy exploring a variety of activities, using goals and playful techniques to strengthen motivation and energy and working with the balance between confidence, exercise, well-being, mental health and functional fitness in life, including improving artistic practises such as singing or drama. 

I enjoy working with people and supporting growth in confidence and knowledge around physical fitness, strength, flexibility, health, and well-being.

How can I help you improve your health?

With a strong knowledge of health and fitness I am determined to help people with their journey in the health and fitness industry.

I have many years’ experience in boxing, both at a competitive level and boxing for fitness. I started boxing myself at 15 years old, and began coaching when I was 17 years old, gaining a large knowledge of the sport since then. I have built on my fitness interest by qualifying as a Personal Trainer through an apprenticeship whilst working as a Lifeguard here at Nuffield Health Norwich Fitness and Wellbeing Club, qualifying in 2018 and moving full time into the Fitness Team. I am also a keen runner and cyclist.

Training specialties with me include High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), boxing fitness, general cardiovascular conditioning, and resistance training.
