I have an appointment booked soon with a Nuffield Health hospital, what happens now?
We are open for new referrals and are offering online consultations to our patients. We are working with the NHS to determine the most clinically appropriate diagnostic tests or procedures to carry out at this time and will only be offering face-to-face appointments for patients meeting these criteria.
Offering our support to NHS Trusts, Health Protection Scotland and caring for patients
We understand this is a concerning time for everyone, especially people at greater risk. Our purpose is to build a healthier nation and we are working to support patients in England, Wales and Scotland by:

- Making our workforce across our network of fitness and wellbeing clubs and clinics available to support NHS trusts and health authorities
- Offering nursery facilities for children of NHS and other key workers
- Supporting people of all ages to keep active and fit at home

Can Nuffield Health test for coronavirus?
As COVID-19 is a public health issue and requires ongoing monitoring by Public Health England, we are not able to conduct testing for COVID-19 in the independent sector. The only validated test available is via designated Public Health England laboratories and are now only being conducted in the acute NHS setting, with all results being verified by the Public Health England laboratory in Colindale.
