About
Mr Haigh is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with special interest in Neuro-ophthalmology.
He trained at St Pauls Eye Unit, Liverpool and Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, where he undertook a paediatric ophthalmology fellowship under Mr I C Lloyd and a strabismus (squint) fellowship under Mr A M Ansons. He is lead consultant for the strabismus for Shropshire and Mid Wales.
Other interests
Mr Haigh was a founder member of Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Society of the Midlands (POSSOM). He is also Chair of the Visual Impairment Services Trans-Agency (VISTA) which brings together health and educational professionals involved in the care of children with eye disorders.
Personal interests
Mr Haigh is a keen cyclist and enjoys hill walking.
