You can book your discounted Personal Training sessions directly at your preferred Fitness & Wellbeing Centre; simply present your membership card at Reception for advice on available Personal Trainers and sessions. 


All Nuffield Health employees can benefit from significant, unrivalled discounts on Personal Training sessions across our Fitness & Wellbeing Centres.

All our PT’s are CIMSPA registered. You can also enjoy personal training sessions with our further qualified Senior Personal Trainers and Health Mentors. Our teams can help guide, advise, educate and motivate on all your health and fitness endeavours, no matter how big or small the goal is. You are encouraged to have a free Health MOT and/or consultation with our experts to amplify your journey, exploring the following:

  • Current health and fitness levels
  • Current routine and activity
  • Small victories to get started
  • On-going training programme(s) tailored to your needs
  • Increasing your energy levels and concentration
  • Reviewing work-life balance and maximising your time and efficiency for both

Why are we offering employees discounted personal training?

Central to our employee wellbeing strategy is to help all employees stay as fit and healthy as possible so that you can love the life you live. Personal Training is proven to keep you fitter and healthier, and exercise also has a significant impact on your emotional wellbeing. Furthermore we want all our employees to experience and enjoy the products and services that we provide to the public so that you can become advocates of the Nuffield Health brand and promote what we do to others.

Who can use this benefit?

This benefit is available to employees only. Bank workers, self-employed workers, consultants and other workers on a Nuffield Health site who are not Nuffield Health employees are not eligible for discounted personal training, but can enjoy discounted membership of a Fitness & Wellbeing Centre and therefore have full access to our fitness teams.

Can my family or friends use this benefit?

Unfortunately not, discounted sessions are an employee-only benefit but your friends and family are welcome to join our Fitness & Wellbeing Centres and access our fitness team that way.

Who provides our Personal Training sessions?

Nuffield Health personal trainers provide the sessions. They are:

  • Qualified professionals  (all our trainers are REPS level 3 qualified at a minimum)
  • Experts in motivation
  • Trained to a high level
  • Approachable, knowledgeable and supportive.

All our Personal Trainers are highly qualified, which ensures that their Personal Training is effective and right for you. They also regularly meet with our professional Health Experts to review your progress and adapt your programme, so it continually benefits you.

How much will it cost?

The employee discounted rate is a circa 50% discount. Prices vary according to site so please see the discounted price list for full details. 

Why do Nuffield Health Fitness & Wellbeing Centres have different personal training prices?

Our Fitness & Wellbeing Centres have different membership rates and personal training charges based on their location and demographic. 

How do I pay for my discounted personal training sessions?

You pay for your discounted Personal Training sessions directly at the Fitness & Wellbeing Centre either by direct debit (please see Terms and Conditions), cash, debit card or credit card.  All payments must be made in full at the front desk, and prior to any sessions being undertaken.

What if I have already paid full price for upcoming sessions?

We cannot refund Personal Training sessions already booked and paid for at the full-price rate. However, you can enjoy the discounted rates when the time comes for you to book more sessions.

What if I have booked discounted sessions but cannot attend due to ill health?

If you have booked discounted personal training sessions and for any medical reason you are no longer able to complete the sessions, you will be given a refund on any outstanding sessions. The club may ask for you to provide proof from your GP.

I am terminating my membership of the Nuffield Health Fitness & Wellbeing Centre but I still have personal training sessions left to use up, can I have a refund?

If you leave the club for any reason, you will not be entitled to a refund. However if you relocate to another Nuffield Health Fitness & Wellbeing Centre, any remaining sessions can be transferred, with the same terms and conditions.

What if I do not use the discounted personal training sessions that I have paid for?

Please refer to the personal training agreement for full details of the terms and conditions related to non-use of paid-for sessions. 

Where can I enjoy discounted personal training?

You can book your Personal Training sessions at your local Nuffield Health Fitness & Wellbeing Centre.

Do I have to be a member of a Fitness & Wellbeing Centre in order to enjoy this benefit?

Yes, you do need to be a member in order to enjoy discounted personal training. If you have not signed up to your free Fitness & Wellbeing Centre membership, please visit the MyBenefits site in order to join. 

Can I enjoy discounted Personal Training at a Nuffield Health Corporate site?

No, all of our corporate fitness clubs are reserved for employees of that company / corporate only, and Nuffield Health employees should not approach these sites. You can enjoy discounted personal training at a Nuffield Health Fitness & Wellbeing Centre.

I am based at the Support Centre in Epsom, can I enjoy discounted personal training there?

Yes, subject to availability you can book your discounted personal training sessions at the Epsom on-site gym. Please email Wellbeing.Fitness@nuffieldhealth.com for advice on availability and to book your free initial consultation, in which our trained PTs will assess your requirements. The cost of personal training sessions in the Epsom on-site gym is £22.50 per session, and you can pay by cash or cheque when you attend.

What if I need to cancel a session that I have paid for? 

Our sites require 24 hours notice of any cancellation of sessions so please contact your Fitness & Wellbeing Centre directly should you need to cancel a session. If 24 hours notice isn’t given, you may lose that session, and you will not be entitled to a refund. 

If your Personal Trainer fails to give you 24 hours notice of any cancellation, you will receive one extra hour of personal training at your convenience, in addition to the session you missed.

What if I am late for my session?

If your Personal Trainer is more than 10 minutes late for your session you will be entitled to a complimentary session, along with any remaining time you still have for that session. However if you are late for your session, it will be reduced in accordance with that time. If you are more than 25 minutes late, your Personal Trainer may choose to cancel the session and you may lose that session. In this circumstance, no refund will be made.

Do I need to sign up to a Personal Training Agreement like our customers do?

Yes – you will be asked to sign the Personal Training Agreement, which outlines the terms and conditions of this service, when you book personal training at the club.
