Jonathan Canham – Hospital Director

Jon is a clinician by background with over 25 years’ experience in the independent healthcare sector in both clinical and business development roles. He brings together this unique blend of experience with strong leadership, whilst ensuring the patient experience remains front and centre.

Anthony Fitzgerald – Matron

Anthony is responsible for leading the clinical services and driving the highest standards of quality that supports the delivery of care to patients that is safe, effective, caring and responsive to their needs, and for developing a culture of learning and quality improvement to enhance patient outcomes.

Anthony is an experienced senior leader in the independent sector and has previously held roles such as Chief Nurse and CQC Registered Manager.

Anna Evans – Hospital Operational Director

Anna has been with Nuffield Health for several years in a variety of Clinical and Project Management roles.

A qualified nurse with a background in oncology and intensive care, Anna has worked in the healthcare sector for over 30 years, the last 20 in the independent sector including Hospital Director and Operations Manager roles as well as a brief stint back in intensive care during the last COVID-19 crisis.  Anna has also been involved in the commissioning and operational start-up of two other new private hospitals and enjoys bringing the passion and views of the clinical teams to life to provide excellent care for our patients. 

Shannon Drew – HR Business Partner

Responsible for bringing the People Strategy to life, Shannon’s role works with multiple stakeholders across the business.  From recruitment and on-boarding to leadership and inclusion, the People Strategy looks to create a culture where people can thrive, feel safe, develop their careers and be the best version of themselves.  With more than 20 years’ experience in people development, Shannon brings a wealth knowledge to help make Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew’s Hospital an inclusive and inspiring place to work.
