Struggling with my weight is what made me want to become a personal trainer, I’ve always enjoyed using the gym and want to extend that enjoyment to you whilst also helping you achieve your goals. My aim is for us to have fun, highly effective 1-2-1 sessions whether you want to get stronger, bigger, or lose weight, whilst giving as much nutritional guidance as needed to support you outside the gym too.

How can I help you improve your health?

Coming from a sporting background I have always been fascinated and committed to the science of body composition, strength and conditioning. To get where you want to be, you need to know where you are. You need a measurable goal, a route and method to reach that goal and finally the conviction and motivation to achieve it. However one of the most important things I have learned is that no one can reach optimum performance alone; your chances of success are exponentially amplified if you have a strong supporting structure behind you – and providing this structure is exactly what I do best. In addition to your overseeing your training and programming, I provide precision nutrition management that eliminates any and all guesswork on your part.

As a personal trainer, I pride myself on getting a very specific job done, and that is to ensure you achieve your own unique version of improved health, fitness and/or physical appearance. My sessions are fun but tough; I demand a lot from my clients both physically and me.

Do you want to feel fitter, healthier and more balanced, and have more energy and confidence in your body as you age? 

As a post-menopausal woman approaching 50, I understand the difficulties many older adults are facing in terms of staying in shape and managing their weight. Things change as we age and what worked for us when we were younger no longer works and we can feel stuck or lost, particularly women going through menopause and men can experience hormonal imbalances as they age too.   

Due to my own experience and struggles I decided to specialise my knowledge in this area so I can help others. I can help you to have the body you want and learn how you can offset the effects of aging. Nutrition and the type of exercise is key to maintaining your muscle mass and a healthy weight you are happy with.   

Just because we are getting older doesn’t mean we don’t want to look and feel good about ourselves!
