How can I help you improve your health?
I completed my Physiotherapy degree in 2009 in sunny Portugal, where I spent six years working with one of the country’s top four men’s rugby teams. Once fully qualified, I became their lead physio. This early experience gave me invaluable exposure to pitch‑side care, and working closely with coaches, nutritionists, and senior players shaped the foundations of my clinical approach.
After moving to England in 2012, I transitioned into private practice and quickly adapted to a new clinical environment. I also worked part‑time as a Physical Health Advisor for the Department for Work and Pensions, which expanded my experience with a diverse patient population. This role strengthened my skills in running group sessions and creating personalised return‑to‑work plans.
In 2016, I joined Nuffield Health in Norwich as a Senior Physiotherapist. Here I further developed my expertise in post‑operative rehabilitation and began providing remote physiotherapy services. Nuffield Health has offered a fantastic network of colleagues and a strong CPD structure that has supported my growth.
A turning point in my career came after completing a weekend course in Cognitive Functional Therapy. This approach transformed how I understand and work with pain, helping me appreciate the uniqueness of every individual. It continues to shape my practice today and is the reason I genuinely enjoy every interaction with my patients.
