How can i help you improve your health?

I’ve always felt the need to challenge myself physically and mentally, resulting in a passion for training, good nutrition and physical improvement. Inevitably, I decided to make my hobby a career, knowing this would force me to make it my priority, with the added bonus of helping people. I enjoy helping people improve their physical fitness, wellbeing, strength and physique.

With experience in playing rugby for over 10 years of my life, and also training in Boxing and Thai boxing I offer effective and varied programmes, incorporating sports specific exercises and functional training, to keep the sessions interesting and motivating, but most importantly effective and fun for my clients.

In my opinion Aesthetics and functional exercise drills/circuits (HIIT Training) combined are most effective for building muscle size and/or definition, whilst burning fat, not mention getting you super fit without all the long boring cardio sessions! Functional training also facilitates injury prevention and postural improvement, which are added benefits to also achieving a great physique. I can help you increase muscle mass and/or definition and reduce body fat very efficiently. If you want to achieve an athletic body that looks great and feels even better, whilst enjoying your training, I have the programme for you.

How can i help you improve your health?

From qualifying as a Personal trainer and Nutritionist over 3 years ago, my views and outlook on fitness and wellbeing has changed drastically. From working with a variety of different clients and members, I realised that before you can achieve your fitness goals, you have to take hold of your mind set to excel in anything you do. Working with myself, we shall set short, medium and long term goals to always have targets to work for. Some of my own passions are playing rugby and strength and conditioning. I have been playing rugby for 4 years and have helped lead my team to consecutive cup finals and high league placings in each season. I have also worked with a wide range of clients from general fitness and wellbeing, strongmen, competitive sports teams and fitness models. Every single client I have worked with have all gone on to achieve their own desired goal and I do not plan on stopping helping anyone that seeks my help and guidance.

How can i help you improve your health?

I have graduated from Leeds Beckett University gaining a degree in Sport, Physical Activity and Health where I also gained my Level 3 Personal Training and Exercise Referral. I have spent the last year working for a weight management company completing two summers on a residential weight loss camp.  I worked closely with clients setting specific and achievable goals; giving nutritional and lifestyle advice and leading a variety of exercise classes in and outside of the gym. My main passion is athletics and running, for which I train 3 -5 times a week for. I will work with you closely to set and achieve your individual goals whether it be weight loss, athletic/running specific, gaining muscle, working towards an event or wanting to gain more confidence in the gym.

I have graduated Leeds Beckett with a BSc in Sports and Exercise Therapy, combining this with a Level 3 Personal Training qualification I have an in depth knowledge about exercise and how we can work to adapt the body in many different ways. With a background in rehabilitation I am able to adapt and individualize training to aid any new or long term injuries ensuring you are exercising comfortably.
