I made a huge career change from Music and Entertainment into Fitness at 35 years old. This was shortly after I lost my father to Cancer. I was hyperaware of my age, health, and poor fitness levels. I was overweight, a smoker and had an assortment of lower back related disorders and pain. I was scared and wanted to do something but like most people, I didn’t know where to start. I started going to the gym frequently but w/o the proper coaching I soon hurt my shoulder. This left me injured and depressed. As luck or fate would have it I met someone very special who became my Personal Trainer and mentor. Her approach was that of a caring friend and tutor. She taught me just as much as she trained me. This really gave me confidence and inspired me to learn more about my body and exercise. Not only was I able to better my fitness and overall health, but I also developed the ability to overcome the mental and spiritual hurdles life threw at me along the way. Now at 43, I'm in the best shape of my life! I have the energy to be the kind Dad my kids deserve and the passion to chase the important things that make life so precious
