How can I help you improve your health?

I have spent many years researching the training methods that yield optimal results and I use this evidence based approach to inform the majority of my decision making. However, I believe that personal training is both a science and an art, the plans I put in place have to be as good in real life as they are on paper. If the sessions are realistic and enjoyable my clients will to adhere to the programme and make life-long changes. In addition to personal training I am the joint pain programme leader for Nuffield Derby, working closely with GP referred adults living with conditions such as Arthritis.

I enjoy all kinds of sports and exercise! In addition to my love of playing Rugby, I have been skiing from an early age and I am a qualified Ski instructor as well as personal trainer, so I am more than happy to assist you with getting into shape for your next holiday. In the last few years I have become more interested in powerlifting and strength training and how these movements can provide fantastic benefits in everyday life.

During your sessions I will draw on the wealth of experience and knowledge I have gained in these areas to create awesome training programmes for my clients. I am a hybrid athlete, enjoying all aspects of fitness; from competitive bodybuilding, Royal Marines Training, and (half) marathon running, I’ve done it all! Whether your goal is simply fat loss or all-round fitness, learning how to use gym equipment and perfecting technique, ‘bulking up’ to gain size and muscle, increasing lean muscle for that ‘toned and fit’ look, or you’re training for an event or competition, I can coach you all the way to your goal. My passion is centred around conditioning the body and creating optimal health through nutrition, getting you strong and lean using varied types of resistance and strength training, and a healthy heart using cardiovascular activity. The type of training is all dependant on you, what you want to achieve and the types of training you enjoy!
