How can I help you improve your health?

I have spent many years researching the training methods that yield optimal results and I use this evidence based approach to inform the majority of my decision making. However, I believe that personal training is both a science and an art, the plans I put in place have to be as good in real life as they are on paper. If the sessions are realistic and enjoyable my clients will to adhere to the programme and make life-long changes. In addition to personal training I am the joint pain programme leader for Nuffield Derby, working closely with GP referred adults living with conditions such as Arthritis.

My sessions will marry the discipline, organisation and motivation skills I gained working as a PE teacher for 25 years and the determination, grit, physical strength and training knowledge I have obtained competing in obstacle course racing at a world class level. I specialise in both high intensity interval training and endurance work and I make sure my sessions are always structured, fun and engaging so my clients stick with them and reach their fitness potential.
