I have spent many years researching the training methods that yield optimal results and I use this evidence based approach to inform the majority of my decision making. However, I believe that personal training is both a science and an art, the plans I put in place have to be as good in real life as they are on paper. If the sessions are realistic and enjoyable my clients will to adhere to the programme and make life-long changes. In addition to personal training I am the joint pain programme leader for Nuffield Derby, working closely with GP referred adults living with conditions such as Arthritis.
