Dr Kurian is a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist with 42 years of experience. He has a special interest in psychopharmacology (medicines for psychiatric conditions). He provides consultation and treatment recommendations and arranges psychotherapy referrals as and when required. Dr Kurian served as an Examiner for the Post Graduate Examinations of the Royal College of Psychiatrists for seven years. He was the Deputy/Associate Medical Director for Dudley & Walsall Mental Health Trust and its preceding organisations for twelve years. Dr Kurian was also a Visiting Professor at MG University, Kerala, India. He provides medico-legal reports on a variety of psychiatric issues, particularly trauma-related conditions. Dr Kurian does not deal with Substance Misuse, ADHD or minors.
