She graduated from the University of Manchester in 2005, she started her Radiology training in the Northwest and then moved to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in 2010.
Emma completed her specialist cardiothoracic training and fellowship in Cardiac CT at the Royal Brompton Hospital. Emma has Level 3 Accreditation in Cardiac CT. She is an active member of the International Educational committee for Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and European Society of Cardiovascular Imaging.
Emma is clinical lead of the Cardiovascular CT department, a tertiary referral centre and the largest in Europe. Emma has introduced fellowship programs to enable Radiologists and Imaging Cardiologists to train alongside each other and has trained many visiting international Imagers in Cardiac CT.
Her area of specialist interest include coronary, structural and congenital cardiac imaging, complex aortic imaging as well as pulmonary disease, including Lung cancer.
Emma combines her passion for travel with projects to improve access and quality of imaging in the developing world. When not working she loves sailing and walking her Airedale terrier.
