About
Dr Bhan qualified from St Bartholomew's and the Royal London Medical School (Queen Mary and Westfield University) in 2002. After completing his training in General Medicine he undertook Cardiology Specialist Registrar posts in the South-East Thames region. His subspecialty training in Congenital Heart Disease was at The Royal Brompton, Guy's and St Thomas' and Great Ormond St Hospitals. He then undertook a Post certification fellowship in Catheter Intervention for Structural and Congenital Heart Disease at Barts Heart Centre, where he took up an NHS Consultant position in 2017. He has also been an Honorary Consultant at Great Ormond St Hospital since 2019.

Dr Bhan has undertaken research in a numbers of areas of Cardiology such as Percutaneous intervention, Structural and Congenital heart disease and Cardiac imaging. In 2015 he completed a MD(Res) formal research degree with Kings College London looking at experimental ultrasound imaging techniques to assess cardiac function in a series of pre-clinical and clinical studies.
