Every course of treatment starts with a 45-minute initial assessment to assess your symptoms, then recommend the right plan for you and begin treatment. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Your physiotherapist will advise how many appointments you will need but you can stop treatment at any time. *Treatment price does not include specialist pelvic health physiotherapy appointments.

Our inpatient physiotherapy team support early recovery after orthopaedic, cardiothoracic and general surgery, and work across our cardiology and oncology services. The physiotherapy team works closely with our colleagues in the cardiac and cancer rehabilitation teams.

How can I help you improve your health?

I qualified as a physiotherapist from Brunel University in 2001.  During my physiotherapy career I have worked in the NHS, and more recently the private sector, working extensively in both inpatient and outpatient settings.  In my current role I lead the physiotherapy, therapy and rehabilitation services at Nuffield Health at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital.

My special interest area is rehabilitation, specifically working with those with cardiovascular disease and cancer.  I completed my MSc in Cardiovascular Rehabilitation at the University of Chester.  I work with other healthcare and exercise professionals at a national level to promote high quality development and delivery of rehabilitation.  I am a guest lecturer at Kings College London, and a course tutor for BACPR.

How can I help you improve your health?

I qualified as a physiotherapist from The University of Hertfordshire in 2005.  I began my career at St George’s Hospital NHS Healthcare Trust. Over time I focused on musculoskeletal physiotherapy. I moved to private healthcare in 2015 and joined Nuffield Health. Working in the heart of the city with passionate and inquisitive patients and colleagues has driven my understanding of pain and its impact on people’s quality of life.

My clinical interests are back pain, persistent pain, sports and orthopaedics rehabilitation. I have come to see communication, timely reassurance and education are the keys that unlock recovery and positive change

How can I help you improve your health?

I qualified as a physiotherapist from Brunel University in 2012.  I completed my junior rotations in the NHS in the core areas of respiratory, orthopedics and elderly rehabilitation. I then specialised as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist and have worked in a variety of NHS and private settings. I joined Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew's Hospital in 2021.

I thoroughly enjoy treating a variety of conditions and have had further training in Pilates, acupuncture, TMJ dysfunction and hand therapy. I have a particular interest in upper limb disorders and post-operative rehabilitation. In my current role I split my time between musculoskeletal and orthopedic physiotherapy, enabling me to support the patient through their whole journey.

How can I help you improve your health?

I qualified as a physiotherapist from St George's, University of London in 2017. Since qualifying I have worked primarily in the NHS and joined Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew's Hospital in 2021. I undertook junior rotations in trauma and orthopaedics, critical care and musculoskeletal outpatients before specialising in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy. During 3 years at St Bartholomew's Hospital I undertook specialist respiratory rotations in long-term conditions including sleep apnoea, bronchiectasis and breathing pattern disorders as well as acute critical illness due to covid, heart attacks and post cardiac and thoracic surgery.

My special interest is critical care, specifically those post cardiac surgery and cardiology intervention. I particularly enjoy supporting patients progress from critical illness through to discharge home.
