Pension & Life Assurance Scheme (PLAS) member area
Pension scheme joiners prior to 2007 hold benefits in the Nuffield Health Pension and Life Assurance Scheme (PLAS). The PLAS arrangement closed to new joiners on 31st May 2007, and at the same time the benefit basis for future contributions moved from being Final Salary to Money Purchase.
Unless specifically requested, members of the PLAS arrangement will remain in PLAS and retain their benefits, and will not be transferred to the Nuffield Health Retirement Savings Plan with Aviva.
