We are open six days a week, with early morning and evening slots available from 8 am to 8 pm on weekdays. We also offer Saturday morning appointments from 8 am to 12 pm and can provide same-day consultations.

We welcome patients of all ages, and you don’t need to be registered with us or live locally to see one of our doctors.

Consultation costs

A standard 20-minute GP consultation costs £120. (Please note that any additional tests or scans, such as blood tests or MRIs, will have a separate charge.)

Our standard appointments are 20 minutes, which is typically longer than a routine NHS appointment. This gives you the time to discuss your health concerns in detail.

Pharmacy

Private prescriptions* can be conveniently collected from our on-site pharmacy, open 8:30 am to 8 pm, Monday to Friday. (*Not controlled drugs)

On-site diagnostics

If you need any tests, we don’t send you elsewhere. We have on-site access to X-ray, ultrasound, MRI and a pathology lab for blood tests.

Rapid results

Many test results are returned quickly, sometimes within a few days.

Specialist referral

If you need to see a specialist, we can provide a rapid referral to over 500 Nuffield Health hospital consultants, many of whom are leaders in their field.

  • Do I need to be registered or live locally?
    No. We welcome all patients, whether for a single appointment or for ongoing care. You do not need to register with us, and your NHS GP will not be affected.
  • How long is a standard appointment?
    Our standard appointments are 20 minutes, which is typically longer than a routine NHS appointment. This gives you the time to discuss your health concerns in detail. Please enquire with our team if you need a longer appointment.
  • Can you issue prescriptions?
    Yes. Our GPs can issue private prescriptions, which you can take to any pharmacy. For your convenience, we also have an on-site pharmacy at Parkside Hospital where you can get your medication immediately.

  • Do you see children?
    Yes, our private GPs are experienced in treating patients of all ages, including children and infants.
  • What about health insurance?
    Most private health insurance policies do not cover GP consultations. Our service is designed to be self-funding. However, if your GP refers you for diagnostic tests or to a specialist, your insurance may cover that part of your care. Please check with your provider.
  • Is there parking available?
    All private or self-paying patients can park free of charge in any of the designated parking spaces.
