About
Dr Chris Tracey studied medicine at St George’s Hospital Medical School, qualifying in 2009. He initially specialized in Cardiology, before joining the GP Training Scheme at Croydon University Hospital in London. The Scheme provided invaluable experience in General Medicine, Psychiatry and Orthopaedics.
After completing his GP training, Dr Tracey worked at a large NHS GP practice in Croydon whilst undertaking a Masters in Patient Safety at Imperial College London. The Master’s dissertation focused on improving the accuracy of diagnosis within General Practice.
Dr Tracey has a wide range of clinical experience and expertise in Urgent and Emergency care, having worked in Emergency Departments, Urgent Care Centres and GP Out-of-Hours services across London and the South Coast. He has held a number of medical leadership roles within this specialty, including Deputy Medical Director for GP Out-of-Hours and Clinical Director at NHS111 services, and is a member of the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management.
Dr Tracey joined Parkside Hospital in 2017, with a regular clinic each Monday, fully utilising the on-site availability of investigations – blood tests, X-rays and scans, as well as the wealth of specialist consultants at Parkside, to ensure the best possible care and experience for each and every patient.
Dr Tracey sees adults and children of all ages.
