At Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital, our private GPs have time to listen and understand, with 30-minute consultations available, so you can get the primary care treatment you need.
Our efficient private GP service has been designed to accommodate your busy lifestyle. Our appointment times are available on Mondays (8:30 - 17:00) and Wednesdays (9:30 - 18:00), as well as by telephone consultation.
GP appointments:

Our experienced local GPs offer face-to-face appointments for a wide range of general health concerns. If further investigations are required, we can provide referrals to private consultants and specialists on-site, as well as expedited access to blood tests, imaging, and private prescriptions. Please note that these options may incur additional charges.

Conditions and Treatments offered:
- Chronic disease management
- Private prescriptions, with some medications available for same-day collection from our on-site pharmacy - additional charge for medication costs
- Referrals to on-site private consultants, physiotherapists and specialists
- Referrals to private diagnostic services, including pathology and imaging
- DVLA Medicals or Insurance - please make enquiries beforehand
- General Mental Health
Services we DO NOT provide:
- For emergency, crisis or out-of-hours care, please call the NHS 111 or 999
- Unlicensed medications or those that require specialist monitoring
- Minor surgery
- GP home visiting service
- Flu vaccination clinic or immunisation services
- Pregnancy, Antenatal or Maternity services
While our GPs DO NOT treat the below, they CAN offer initial consultation and referral to specialists/consultants for:
- Ear microsuction for wax or foreign body removal from ear, nose and throat
- Cervical screening or Sexually Transmitted Diseases
- Sports medicine certificates
