I have 3 main passions when it comes to training. These are:

  • Improving Sports Performance, so helping you become Stronger, Faster, and more Robust specific to your sport.
  • Improving Human Performance. By this I mean reducing any body aches and pains, fixing any postural/mobility imbalances and making your overall health as efficient as it can be to cope with everyday life.
  • Simplifying health and not making it feel like a chore, by creating small lifestyle changes to help you improve physically and mentally.

How can I help you improve your health?

As your trainer, I believe my role extends further than just instructing movement patterns and exercises; it is my aim to equip you with skills and knowledge so you can take control of your own health and fitness journey. Understanding why you are doing something is far more empowering and effective in producing long-lasting results. I also enjoy helping people who are new to training become more confident and comfortable within the gym environment.

Using knowledge learnt throughout my university education I also have the ability to help individuals living with chronic diseases (such as diabetes, cardiac and respiratory diseases) to live a healthier and more fulfilling quality of life.

With my interest in sports massage, it was natural that I found a passion in sports injuries and rehab. I have had the pleasure of working with many clinical patients who have had a wide range of injuries such as; broken backs to complete knee replacements and everything in between.

As your trainer, I find nothing more rewarding than watching you achieve goals that you never thought you could or would. I am here to help you push your boundaries one step at a time to achieve your end goal.

My love of sports has been with me for as long as I can remember. I played hockey at a high level throughout both secondary school and college before transitioning into dance and spending 16 years as a cheerleader and cheerleading coach where I was lucky enough to travel to the World’s competition.

I became interested in fitness and training when in 2015 I made the choice to change everything I did and through training, effort and willpower I lost five stone in two years, so I got my level 2 and 3 in fitness in 2017 and changed the idea of where I wanted to be, because of this I want to inspire and motivate people into achieving their goals, from weight loss and feeling fitter to strength and building muscle.

I like to create programs that are diverse and fun, something to make you enjoy your training and feel you are getting the most out of it. Also, I like to build up ideas of what you will be able to do and set goals for future training.

I feel that training has a huge knock-on effect on our everyday lives; using the gym will improve it so that you feel you can live better and feel wonderful.

I believe it is important to get the best understanding of your training because it is not just the body that changes but also the mind. I will help you understand, keep focused, motivated and feel good.
