Jon has been involved in the fitness industry for over 10 years and in that time built up a lot of knowledge in health and fitness. Jon specialises in HITT Training and is also a trained sports massage therapist. Jon has a calm and approachable manner allowing his clients to feel at ease.

How can I help you improve your health?

I have worked in the fitness industry for over 20 years, during which time I have gained various qualifications and experience. As well teaching a wide range of group exercise classes, my own passion for fitness led me to further qualifications in exercise and nutrition.

One of these qualification is a BSc Honours in Exercise and Lifestyle Management. Alongside a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification I also have qualifications in Level 3 GP Exercise Referral and Level 4 Lower Back Pain Management. 

I get a lot of personal satisfaction from helping people to reach their goals, whether it be weight loss, building lean muscle mass, improving cardiovascular health or improving functional range of movement for a better quality of life.

How can I help you improve your health?

Jon has a degree in sports and exercise science and up until two years ago was playing semi-professional football. Jon loves to coach strength and conditioning training. Following an operation and rehabilitation he developed his second passion in the gym, rehabilitation and injury prevention.

I have always had a love for exercise and personal fitness from training in dance from the age of six. I have a level 3 diploma in dance. I first started training in the gym at the age of 18 and became very interested in personal training. I discovered that I had a passion to help and train others to achieve their fitness goals. As a PT I motivate and encourage people to be at their best, making my sessions fun and enjoyable.

There are so many different ways to achieve results so being able to find a training method that suits you is key.

I like to also focus on nutrition and the effects it can have on health.  Food plays a dominant feature in our lives and so understanding basic food requirements of the human body is also key to having a positive result in the gym.

I love working with people, who have different goals to achieve - losing weight, gaining muscle mass, improve posture, be strong and confident. My biggest happiness is to be part of your journey and help you achieve goals. I am a mother of two, who gained loads of weight during both pregnancies. I know how hard it is to get back in shape, get the confidence and your body back. I truly believe in one thing, it is possible for you to become even stronger than before. I have done it before myself and I am more than happy to prove to you that your are wrong, if you think you can’t. And we will do it with a smile.

I have worked with clients who have got an injury or recovering from injuries, and we have made a huge progress working together.

I love making my sessions fun and interesting, you will be learning how to use your time wisely in the gym and outside. How to focus on specific areas of your body. By training with me, you will never get bored. My sessions are always fun, interactive and full of interesting things that not only make you stronger, but wiser as well.

How can I help you improve your health?

After deciding to get fit and lose weight six years ago, fitness has become such a passion that it’s now my career.

I have personal experience in weight loss, having lost six stone with a programme I designed for myself, as well as muscle gain, having gained 2.5 stone in muscle since, so can accommodate a wide range of goals that people may have.

Using past experiences, combining my degree and level 3 personal trainer qualifications, I not only have the technical knowledge to help people achieve, but also being able to empathise and understand that overall fitness isn’t as black and white as it may seem, but has many other factors that can influence progress.

I’ve always had an interest in the foods we eat and how it affects the body, leading to the completion of a degree in nutrition, which has given me the in-depth scientific knowledge required to advise on the foods we eat.
