How can i help you improve your health?

Mandy's style of training differs for each client but she believes that HIIT training (High Intensity Interval) is very successful and she encourages clients to train in this way. Mandy works hard with her clients to achieve the results they are looking for and she will encourage and motivate them until they reach their goals. Mandy thinks the most important aspect of Personal Training is enjoyment and finding out what works for you; all her sessions are tailored to her client’s individual needs.

How can i help you improve your health?

My role as your Personal Trainer is to educate, motivate and support you in your journey – whatever your goals are surrounding health and fitness, my job is to make sure you have the tools to get there and ensure that you leave our sessions happy and confident (or at least thank me for it later). I believe the mental gains of exercise are just as important as the physical ones and that training should be based around how you feel and not just about how you look. So, if you’re after an injection of newness into your training, feel a bit lost in the gym or just want some extra motivation and support, come and have a chat and we can work together to reach your goals.

I have been exercising in the gym for many years and during that time I was lucky enough to meet someone who helped me lose the 4 stone I was carrying in additional weight.  I learnt how to get strong, flexible, increase my stamina and gain confidence in my everyday life.

As a PT, I help my clients do the same by working together as a team.  I will create the right individual training and nutrition plan which is necessary for you to progress on your fitness journey.  As your partner in this process I will motivate and encourage you along the way.

How can i help you improve your health?

I believe that the exercise we do in the gym, should be applicable to everyday situations, enabling you to move better, stand taller and feel stronger and healthier in all aspects of life. With my clients I focus on increasing flexibility, improving posture, core stability and bodyweight strength. I believe that these are fundamental to support all fitness goals and reduce risk of injury and pain. Increased flexibility maximises our ability to move easily and translate strength into power.

A good stretching routine can help reduce stress, boost circulation and improve exercise recovery and performance. My sessions are focused around:  

  • Movement based flexibility;  
  • Foam rolling;
  • Bodyweight strength;
  • Core stability;
  • Functional training;
  • Assisted stretching.  

I love seeing my client’s progress and how our sessions improve different areas of their lives. My client’s goals are my number one priority and I am committed to fully understanding what they would like to get out of training and finding the most efficient and effective way to achieve these results.
