In addition to this, I will be providing you with the constant motivation and support that will keep you dedicated and disciplined to achieve what you have set out to do and create a healthier and happier version of yourself.

Being a busy Mum I understand how it can be difficult to find time to train but I believe it is so important to make time for yourself for a happy, healthy mind and body.

12 years of service in the British Army has given me a multitude of exercise knowledge, specialising in body weight, callisthenics and functional fitness. So whether you’re looking to improve your sporting ability, strength and endurance, everyday fitness or overall well being, I will get you to where you need to be!

Having suffered from a long term illness and being a medic in the military I understand the complexities that lifelong illnesses can bring to your life. This aids me in understanding my client's needs, whether that be the start of your health and fitness journey, to break out of a stagnant period or wanting to hit specific exercise goals and everything in between.

How can I help you improve your health?

Being an older personal trainer, and coming from working outside the fitness industry, I bring with me life skills that have been built up during my working life, mainly being a good communicator, listener, and being compassionate, especially if you are new to working out in the gym.

I believe a client who has PT nearer their own age, feels more comfortable training with somebody of a similar age as we are likely to have more in common, and have mutual interests, and I would understand for instance, ‘what it is like to get or being injured’.

I like to make my sessions fun but effective, I believe boxing is great way to stay fit and healthy whilst getting involved in your sessions to make it more enjoyable. I’m motivational and I encourage my clients to do their best and get the most out of their sessions.

How can I help you improve your health?

I have been with Nuffield Health since 2016 and work both as a Personal Trainer and as a Rehabilitation Specialist for people with Long Covid. 

My background in fitness is quite varied, I have been a Kickboxing instructor and a Roller Derby coach (if you don’t know what roller derby is imagine rugby on roller skates but with no ball).  

I believe exercise is vital to your overall wellbeing (physical and mental) and I’m all about happiness as the end goal, whether that be getting your body stronger and more resilient or just releasing some endorphins by getting a sweat on.

With my diverse academic background and a previous internship in strength and conditioning, it is my mission to Improve your confidence and beliefs so that you feel positive about your health. I aim to give you the correct exercises and strategies to achieve your goals and overcome previous setbacks from injuries or lack of motivation. My philosophy is based on the habit theory that small changes done consistently start to promote positive changes in your health and fitness.
