How can i help you improve your health?

Whilst busy studying my degree in Psychology, I found myself in a place where I had let my health and fitness take a side-line. I found myself stuck with food and exercise and decided something needed to change. I embarked on my own weight loss journey losing almost 3 stone, through hard work and determination. I wanted to bring together all aspects of health, mental and physical, so I decided to turn my passion for health and fitness into a career.

How can i help you improve your health?

I am dedicated to getting my clients the results they want and you can often see me putting them through their paces. I am passionate about my role as a personal trainer and I am a big believer in continuing my own professional development and I have recently completed a masters degree in Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation.

I enjoy guiding my client's through their transformations as they follow by advice. My first degree in sports therapy allows me to combine exercise alongside therapy to help rehabilitate those who have any injuries and decrease the risk of any re-occurrence.

I like to make my sessions fun but effective, I believe boxing is great way to stay fit and healthy whilst getting involved in your sessions to make it more enjoyable. I’m motivational and I encourage my clients to do their best and get the most out of their sessions.

How can i help you improve your health?

Before I decided to become a personal trainer, I was working as a hairdresser with a poor diet, repeating the same training routine and not getting any closer to my goals, which lead to more actions that were drastic. Using my own personal experience when it comes to health and wellbeing, I want to help educate and guide people on how they can improve their lives without taking such drastic actions for a short-term fix.

Through setting and beating my own health and fitness goals over the years, I know the importance of health and well-being. I have been working in the Fitness & Leisure Industry since 2005 as a Personal Trainer and BodyPump™ Instructor, gaining Elite Status in BodyPump™ in 2016.  Having worked with many clients over the years, I have seen their highs and lows; helped them to achieve their goals and motivated them to 'push on' when there's been one bicep curl too many!

With my diverse academic background and a previous internship in strength and conditioning, it is my mission to Improve your confidence and beliefs so that you feel positive about your health. I aim to give you the correct exercises and strategies to achieve your goals and overcome previous setbacks from injuries or lack of motivation. My philosophy is based on the habit theory that small changes done consistently start to promote positive changes in your health and fitness.
