I am Sheriff, Since my professional football career ended, I have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Sports & Exercise Science from Edinburgh's Napier University. I have extensive experience of physical training and an in-depth understanding of the requirements of team work, how to assess and help clients achieve their health and fitness goals.

As an experienced Personal Trainer with scientific knowledge in sports and exercise biomechanics, assessment and conditioning for performance for beginner and elite athletes, I am committed to applying my expertise to improve your fitness level, health and wellbeing.

Hello, I am H. After 8 years behind a desk in corporate events I thought it was time to follow my passion for fitness and re-train as a personal trainer. That was in 2015 and I haven't looked back since.
I can help you de-stress after work with a pair of boxing pads, give advice on nutrition or help you tone up before a holiday or event. Whatever your goal, whether it is running a half marathon, training for the Pedal for Scotland cycle ride, weight loss, ante and post natal exercise or getting fit post illness/injury I can help you achieve it. As well as a Personal trainer, I am also fully qualified Sports Massage therapist, which allows me to look at the body’s systems and functioning in a slightly different way. During my career as a Personal trainer I have managed to help my clients to achieve their best results (to recover after injuries, to improve sports specific results and to reduce weight) which also gave me more confidence and knowledge in my field of fitness and wellbeing.

My training styles changes with the personality of the individual. Training programs includes: high intensity circuits, powerlifting, rehabilitation and mobility training, as well as weight loss and toning. My aim is to show to everyone that there are many ways to achieve their best results without sacrificing favorite hobbies.

I’ve been a personal trainer for three years and I’m happy to be a part of the Nuffield Health team.  

On top of personal training I'm also a competitive powerlifter and strongman and have been competing since 2015.

 

I believe increasing overall strength is an important part of fitness and is often overlooked, I find that it can play a massive part improving body composition as it burns fat by increasing your energy expenditure.

How can i help you improve your health?

I started my time helping members on the gym floor while increasing my knowledge and client base. I also take classes such as Spin and HIIT so keep an eye out!

 I love to help clients achieve, whether it may be building muscle mass, weight loss or gain by drawing on my own experiences to cater to your goals and targets. I use functional training equipment such as battleropes, ViPR, kettlebells along with many others.

My approach is simple – keep it as interesting as possible, but more importantly making your pursuit of fitness as fun as possible.
