I have been in the Sports and Fitness industry throughout my whole life. I started playing football at Spartans FC which made me realise I wanted to work within the health and fitness industry.

I have done an HND in Fitness Health and Exercise at Edinburgh College and then got my PT Level 3 qualification. I am currently in my fourth year at Stirling University doing Sports Studies which means I like to specialise in sport-specific training and I have loads of experience in this area.

I am also interested in helping people bulk and gain muscle or lose weight and ultimately reach their fitness goals.

Since my professional football career ended, I have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports & Exercise Science from Edinburgh's Napier University. I have extensive experience of physical training and an in-depth understanding of the requirements of team work, how to assess and help clients achieve their health and fitness goals.

As an experienced Personal Trainer with scientific knowledge in sports and exercise biomechanics, assessment and conditioning for performance for beginner and elite athletes, I am committed to applying my expertise to improve your fitness level, health and wellbeing.

My passion for fitness properly began when I joined the Parachute Regiment within the British Army. It taught me all aspects of fitness training and gave me first-hand knowledge and understanding into managing health and mental well-being.

Having spent the past few years travelling and coaching with Royal Caribbean over in America, I am now back home and have the opportunity to pass on everything I have learnt to our members here at Nuffield Health!

How can I help you improve your health?

Growing up in a club swimming environment, training hard has always been a great passion of mine. My own fitness journey has been incredibly important to me and has given me the knowledge to help you reach your full training potential.

I have recently gained my Level 3 as a Personal Trainer alongside my Les Mills Grit Instructor certificate. This has given me further insight on different types of high intensity training methods, which we can use together to be able to get the most out of our sessions.

  • Having a Sports Science background, you can be assured that everything we do is evidence-based (don’t worry, I’ll only bore you with the technical stuff if you ask me to!)
  • All of my sessions are fun, varied and based on your personal goals. Not only will we smash those goals, we can have a good time on the journey too!
  • I have trained (and ran the Dublin Marathon with) a marathon runner to take 17 minutes off her time and qualify for the London Marathon! I have trained a triathlete to overcome a serious ankle injury and get back to hitting personal best times and I have trained many brides to be ready for their big day!
